She Is now 91 year old and at some point – hopefully not anytime soon her reign will come to an end and that’s what were going to be talking about today. 5. Breaking the news

4. Prince Charles will become King

The queens body will lie in state in Westminster Hall. Before this the houses of Parliament will have the opportunity to take a new oath of allegiance to the new Monarch.
After 3 days have passed her grandsons will relieve the official guard to stand guard over the coffin for a short period.
2. A Star-studded Funeral
The queens body will lie in state until the day of the funeral- which will become a public holiday. The coffin will be transported to Westminster Abbey by gun carriage for a state funeral.
Its expected to be the best-attended funeral of all time- due to the fact that shes one of the most senior heads of state in the world.
With world leaders from all across the globe expected to be in attendance. The service will be led by Justin Welby- who is the Archbishop of Canterbury and the second-most senior figure in the Church of England.
1. Final Resting Place
After the funeral the queen will be placed in her final resting place. Its expected this will either be at one of her 2 properties in Scotland or at St.
Georges Chapel at Windsor- which is the site of the grave of King George the 6th- her father. After an appropriate time of mourning- up to a year or so- there will be a coronation.
