James Bond, the British spy that always manages to somehow save the world, is someone that everyone knows and loves. But he would be nothing without the smart and beautiful women who have captured his heart, or broken it, throughout the history of the films. 10. Daniela Bianchi
Daniela Bianchi, born on January 31, 1942, is an Italian actress who played the role as Tatiana Romanova in the 1963 James Bond film, “From Russia with Love.” She played a Soviet cipher clerk sent to entrap James Bond.
In 1970, Bianchi retired from acting to marry a Genoan shipping magnate, Alberto Cameli, with whom she has one son. Her husband died in 2018. In 2012, Bianchi appeared in a small role in the documentary film, “We’re Nothing Like James Bond.”
9. Claudine Auger
Claudine Auger, born on 26 April 1941, was a French actress who played the role as Dominique Derval in the James Bond film Thunderball. She earned the title of Miss France World and became the first runner-up in the 1958 Miss World contest.
In 1959, she married writer-director, Pierre Gaspard-Huit. But they later divorced. She then married British businessman, Peter Brent, in the 1980s. The couple had one child, Jessica Claudine Brent. Peter Brent died in August 2008. Auger died in Paris on December 18, 2019, following a lengthy illness.
8. Eva Green
Eva Green, born on July 6, 1980, is a French actress and model who played the role as Vesper Lynd in the 2006 James Bond film, Casino Royale. She attended the American University of Paris and took an acting course at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Although she was cast at the last minute for the Vesper Lynd role, her performance was well received. Entertainment Weekly called her the fourth best Bond girl of all time.
IGN named her the deadliest woman, stating, “This is the girl that broke and therefore, made James Bond.” She won a BAFTA award and an Empire award for her performance. Both awards were voted by the British public.
7. Halle Berry
Halle Maria Berry, born on August 14, 1966, is an American actress. She began her career as a model and entered several beauty contests, finishing as the first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant, and coming in sixth, in the Miss World 1986. She is the first and only African-American to win an Academy Award for Best Actress in a leading role.
In 2002, Berry played the role as “Jinx” Johnson in the 20th James Bond film, “Die another Day.” According to an ITV news poll, Jinx was voted the fourth toughest girl on screen of all time.
6. Madeline Smith
Madeline Smith, born on August 2, 1949, is an English actress. After working as a model in the late 1960s, she went on to appear in many television series and stage productions, plus comedy and horror films, in the 1970s and 1980s.
In 1973, Smith played the role as Miss Caruso in the 8th James Bond film, “Live and Let Die.” Miss Caruso is a fictional Italian agent, seen sleeping with James Bond at the beginning of the film.
Smith said that Roger Moore, the one who played James Bond in this film, was extremely polite to work with, but she felt very uncomfortable wearing only panties while Moore’s wife was on set, overseeing the scene.
5. Bérénice Marlohe
Bérénice Lim Marlohe, born on May 19, 1979, is a French actress who played the role as Sévérine in the 23rd James Bond film, “Skyfall.” Sévérine is a former sex slave who works as an accomplice of Raoul Silva.
She collaborates with James Bond to stop her boss, but is captured and killed by Silva. Following Sévérine’s first appearances in promotional materials for Skyfall, film critics noted that the character was a return to the classic elements of the James Bond films, specifically Bond meeting a beautiful and mysterious woman.
4. Jane Seymour
Jane Seymour, born on February 15, 1951, is a British-American actress who played the role as Solitaire in the 8th James Bond film, “Live and Let Die.” Solitaire is a psychic medium in the employ of Dr. Kananga who use Tarot cards to serve him.
She inherited her powers and her job from her mother, but the one drawback to her ability is that she must remain a virgin in order to preserve it. IGN ranked her as 10th in a Top 10 Bond Babes list.
Seymour has earned an Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2000, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire. In February 2018, she posed for Playboy for a third time, becoming, at the age of 67, the oldest woman to be photographed for the magazine.
3. Sophie Marceau
Sophie Marceau, born on November 17, 1966, is a French actress, director, screenwriter, and author. She became an international film star with her performances in Braveheart, Firelight, and the 19th James Bond film, “The World Is Not Enough.” For the Bond film, Marceau played the role as Elektra Vavra King, a fictional daughter of wealthy oil tycoon who used to getting what she wants.
She doesn’t like to be resisted and will do anything to get her way, including using her charms, torturing and killing anyone who tries to stand in her way. She’s also an excellent tactician and actress who passes for an innocent girl when she’s really one of the brains behind her operation.

Caroline Munro, born on January 16, 1949, is an English actress and model, known for her many appearances in horror, science fiction, and action films of the 1970s and 1980s.
Her career commenced in 1966, when her mother and a photographer friend, entered some headshots of her in The Evening News’s “Face of the Year” contest.

Ryder’s entrance in the film, emerging from the ocean in a white bikini, holding two large seashells, while the sun shines on her wet blonde hair, is considered a classic James Bond moment, establishing both the character and actress as a sex symbol.
